Poori is a popular Indian breakfast recipe. Poori or puri is a deep fried Indian flat bread. Poori recipe using wheat flour is explained with step by step pictures. Pooris prepared using wheat flour are healthier as compared to maida pooris.

Ingredients:
1 Cup Multi Millet Flour
¾ Cup Kriti Whole Wheat Flour
½ Cup Onions Finely Chopped
¼ Cup Coriander Finely Chopped
1 Tbsp Green Chillies Finely Chopped
A Pinch Of Asafoetida (Hing)
1 Tsp Carom Seeds
1 Tsp Jeera Powder
¼ Tsp Turmeric Powder
2 Tbsp Ghee
Oil For Cooking
Salt To Taste
Method :
Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a semi-stiff dough using enough water. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Divide the dough into 15 equal portions.
Put one portion on the tawa and spread with hand using water and make a circle.
Spread some oil on the edges and cook both sides till it becomes brown.
