Roti, staple to most Indian homes are also known as Phulka or Chapati. There would not be any single meal without roti in my parent’s home growing up. A must have, in all traditional Indian homecooked meals mostly paired with dal and curry.

Salt - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tbsp

Knead a soft dough for the parathas with wheat flour and water. Make small, even and round balls and along with it make a depression in the centre and add a spoonful of potato filling.
Seal the dough and round it with the your fingers. Now roll them with a rolling pin into round parathas.
Put the paratha on a hot tava. Cook evenly on both sides and pour some oil. Continue to cook both sides.
