Malpua is a sweet pancake popular in Uttar pradesh, Rajsthan, Bihar, West bengal, Orissa and Maharashtra. It is also popular and commonly made in the neighboring countries, Nepal and bangladesh. However each region has a different version of making malpua.

Ingredients:
Kriti Atta -- 1 Cups
3/4 cup sugar
8-10 whole black pepper
Ghee for frying
Shredded nuts for garnishing
Method :
Mix Kriti atta and sugar in 1 1/2 cup of water (add water little by little).
Mix well making sure no lumps remain in it. Cover and set aside for 3-4 hours (batter should be of dosa batter consistency; add more water if needed).
Add whole black pepper and mix well.
Heat the ghee in a flat-bottomed iron pan or non-stick frying pan.
Pour a small ladleful of batter in the hot ghee. It should spread by itself to form a thin round shape and deep fry them from both sides till crispy.
